Born February 21, 1946, in Cambridge City, Indiana, to Harold and Alma Eckhart Callahan, Rosemary was a life-long resident of Wayne County, Indiana. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1964. Rosemary retired from the Palladium-Item, where she worked as an assistant controller. After retiring, Rosemary worked at Meijer for 10 years. She was a longtime member of Cambridge City Christian Church. Rosemary was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi International and the Hoosier Corners Square Dance Club and belonged to a euchre club with her close friends. She loved her family dearly, especially her grandkids. Rosemary enjoyed celebrating birthdays and holidays with her family and attending her grandchildren’s basketball and football games. She also enjoyed painting and taking pictures.
Survivors include her daughter, Lorelei (Ed) Toschlog; stepchildren, Gary Sheets and Susan Bell and their families; grandchildren, Charles (Lori) Wampler, Gunner Toschlog, and Autumn Toschlog; great-grandchildren, Barrett, Josie Kay, and Jewel; nieces; nephews; and many friends, including her close friend, Barry Pippin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Edwards Sheets, who died in 1994; parents; and brother, Fred Callahan.
Visitation for Rosemary Sheets will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 17, 2021, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 17, 2021, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Minister Gordon Mehaffey officiating. Burial will be in South Lawn Cemetery in Dublin.
