William Joseph Butler, 58, of Richmond, Indiana, died unexpectedly November 25, 2021. He was born on Jan. 28, 1963, in Rochester, Indiana, the son of William A. and Nancy L. Butler.
William served in various branches of the military; including the U.S. Army, Army National Guard, and the U.S. Air National Guard, and later settled in a career in Respiratory Therapy.
In 1986, he met his beloved eternal companion, Caryn. They were married in January of 1987. Bill was a proud father of 5 children, and 14 International exchange children.
Bill was a man who quietly served those around him, and could always pull a smile from many, through his teasing ways.
He was a valiant member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, that knowledge, is a “Rock to my foundation.”
Bill loved motorcycles, singing in the car, fishing and hunting. He especially loved hunting for treasures and set the example of how to find a great deal.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Hadley Sanders; and his son, Joshua Sanders.
Surviving in addition to his wife Caryn, are his brother, David Sanders, and sister Teena (Richard) Moore. Children, Ryan Butler, Neena Sanders (Dylan Thomas), David (Shea) Sanders, Rhea (Jacob) Hutto. Grandchildren, Alexx, Olivia, Hali, Nick, Daelan, Cadyn, Hunter, Gage and Liam.
Bill was loved by many special Aunts, Uncles, Family and Nieces and dear sweet friends.
