Naomi Vern Sheley, age 70, of Richmond, Indiana, died Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at Golden LivingCenter – Richmond.
Naomi was born on September 21, 1951, in Hamilton, Ohio, to Thurl Elmo and Willie Julia Richards Sheley. She attended and worked at Green Acres in Richmond. Naomi attended Living Faith Church of God. She enjoyed listening to country music and watching baseball.
Survivors include her sister, Ruth Ann Bahnweg of Richmond; nephew, Stephen (Chrissy) Bahnweg of Eaton, Ohio; great-nephews; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Esther Shanon; brothers, David and Stephen Sheley; and brother-in-law, Max Bahnweg.
Visitation for Naomi Vern Sheley will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Monday, November 22, 2021, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. Monday, November 22, 2021, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Pastor Steven Smith officiating. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
