Stella Francis (Benge) Hurd, 76, of Richmond, IN, passed away on September 28, 2021.
Stella was born in Richmond, IN to Katherine Benge on April 12, 1945. She graduated from Centerville High School, and earned her LPN license from Reid Hospital. Stella was an amazing nurse who worked as an LPN for Reid Hospital for most of her career.
Stella is preceded in death by husband of nearly 50 years, Maurice Hurd.
Stella is survived by daughters Charlene Benge and Tina Holmes, son-in law Floyd Holmes, son Tony Hurd, grand-daughters Erikka Dalton, Jordan Holmes, and Sydne Benge, Kristin Hurd, Janay Tanori, and Dominique Hurd, grandson-in-law Chhum Dalton, and great-grandchildren Zavier and Dallis Dalton.
In lieu of visitation or memorial services, the family invites those who wish to honor Stella’s memory to install a hummingbird feeder and enjoy the bird watching, her favorite summertime activity.
