Floyd Wesley Brown, 80, Greens Fork, passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2021 in Davenport, Florida.
He was born in Richmond, Indiana on August 2, 1941. Floyd received a B.S. and M.A. in Education from Ball State University. He was married to Barbara Russell until her passing in December of 2014.
Known throughout his childhood as “Buddy”, Floyd was a proud career Farmer, Educator and Musician. His dedication to a lifetime of hard work was only matched by his desire to enjoy life with those around him.
He was survived by his three sons: Wally, Wes, and Tony Brown, their wives and families and his younger sister, Vicki Elliott.
An outdoor memorial Floyd will be held graveside on the family farm at NOON, Saturday, October 2, 2021, at 7751 Smoky Row Road, Greens Fork, IN 47345. Masks or social distancing are encouraged for everyone’s safety. Condolences may be sent to the family at the farm address.
