Born August 27, 1974, in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Rodney and Elma Gangtong Draculan, Dawn moved to Richmond in 2002. She worked as the general manager at O’Charley’s in Richmond and multiple other locations. Dawn was goal oriented and never expected more from anyone than she was willing to do herself. Dawn strived to bring out the best in others. She was a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Dawn was fun to be around and the life of the party. Above all, she loved her family and always put them first.
Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Shawn Davis; children, Jerome Draculan, Nathaniel Davis (Jessica Foster), and Celine Davis, all of Richmond; grandchildren, Ashton Draculan and Jessa Lom; mother, Elma of Hawaii; sister, Dinah of Hawaii; brother, Aries of Hawaii; father-in-law, Mike (Karen) Davis of Mesa, Arizona; mother-in-law, Linda (Steve) Smeigh of Richmond; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her father; grandmother; and uncle.
Visitation for Dawn M. Davis will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 25, 2021, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 25, 2021, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home. The family politely requests that masks be worn. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery.
