Jessica Atkins, age 45, passed away at Reid Health on August 28, 2021. She was born November 4, 1975, to Tim Atkins and Vicky Christian, in New Castle, Indiana.
Jessica attended Eastern Hancock Schools and was a current resident of Richmond, Indiana. She loved fishing, arts & crafts, music, dancing and spending time with family and friends.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother: Vicky Christian; two children: Cassidy Ozbun of Richmond, IN and Lilly Atkins of Shirley, IN; one granddaughter: Anova Ozbun of Richmond, IN; three brothers: Tony Atkins (wife Melissa) of Shirley, IN, Terry Atkins (wife Trisha) of Charlottesville and Toby Atkins (wife Lorraine) of Knightstown; step-brother: Wade Christian (wife Mitzi) of Franklin, IN; step-sister: Carlynn Christian (husband Franz) of Salt Lake City, Utah; several nieces and nephews; aunts; uncles; and cousins. She also leaves several close friends in Richmond, Indiana.
She is preceded in death by her father: Tim Atkins; step-father: Jack Christian; maternal grandmother: Phyllis Wybiral; and paternal grandparents: Barb and Sonny Atkins.
