Amber “Amy” Lyne Preston, 33, of Lynn, IN passed away early Sunday morning, August 29, 2021 at Reid Health and Hospital of Richmond, IN. She was born November 30, 1987 in Winchester, IN the daughter of Randy J. and Holly R. (Pierson) Preston. She had attended Randolph Southern High School.
Amy enjoyed spending her leisure time playing with her girls; making specialty T-Shirts, hunting and enjoying being around water.
She leaves to cherish her memory her parents, Randy and Holly of Lynn; two children, Lillian Autumn Renee and Kacie Joe; two step-children, Rexxy and Makita; maternal grandfather, Paul E. Pierson; uncle, Bobby C. Preston, Jr. (wife, Robin); Aunts, Karen Fulk (husband, Craig), Sharon Parrot, Paula Hahn and “KK” Kari Koons; cousins, Courtney Cain (husband, Jesse), Devon Powell, M. Brook Lawrence (husband, Ian), Kelcee Koons, Becky Preston, Geneva Preston, Chasity Preston, Ashley Stevens, Justin Swoveland and Bobbie Reece; many second cousins; and four great aunts. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Madeline Pierson and Geneva Preston; grandfather, Bobby C. Preston, Sr.; uncle, Ronnie Preston; and an infant child.
Amy will be missed by all that truly loved her, family and friends.
A gathering to celebrate Amy’s life will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Wilson Shook Funeral Home, Thomas Memorial Chapel of Lynn, Indiana.
