Cherlyn D. Bledsoe Smith, age 70, of Richmond, Indiana, died Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at Forest Park Health Campus.
Cherlyn was born on June 17, 1951, in Richmond, Indiana, to Elmer and Mary Atkins Bledsoe and attended Richmond High School. Above all else, she adored her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Danette (Paul) Hacker of London, Kentucky, Darin Smith of Manchester, Kentucky, and Jamie (Rebecca) Smith of Winchester, Kentucky; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Willie Wagers; sister, Tauni Walters (Jim Pittman) of Richmond; brother, Terry (Trudy) Bledsoe of Richmond; nieces; and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Smith; daughter, Lisa Wagers; parents; brother-in-law, Jack Walters; and nephew, Jeffrey Walters.
A Celebration of Life for Cherlyn D. Bledsoe Smith will be announced by the family at a later date. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are being handled by Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond.
