Betsy Lynnette Kilgore, age 50, passed away on Friday July 23, 2021 at Reid Hospital while surrounded by her family. She was born in Richmond, Indiana on May 17, 1971 to David and Diana Gatts Batchelor and had lived in the area all of her life. Betsy graduated from Richmond High School in 1989 and enjoyed crafting, visiting Gatlinburg, Tennessee and spending time with her family.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Lester Kilgore (whom she wed on October 7, 2018); children Crystal Trotter and James Wombold; grandchildren Aliyanna Trotter, Bentley Wombold and baby Braxtyn Wombold on the way; sister Lisa (Rick) Anderson; nieces Ashlee Dillman and Jennifer Whalen; best friend and former husband Scott Wombold, special Grandma “Granny” Trudy Hammons and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents David and Diana Batchelor and grandparents Irvin and Francis Batchelor, Robert Gatts and Ann Nancarrow.

Services for Betsy will be held on Monday August 2, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary. Burial will immediately follow in Earlham cemetery. Pastor Brett Karanovich will officiate. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Monday August 2, 2021 at the funeral home.
