Brian Christopher Sherer, 35, of Richmond, passed away on July 12, 2021 due to injuries sustained in an accident. Brian is known for his loving heart, beautiful art, woodworking, and adventurous spirit. His life on this earth was unexpectedly short, but he brought so much joy and warmth to those around him.
Those who knew Brian, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives. He was best known for his heart full of love “HFL.” His heart will continue to beat on, as he was able to successfully donate seven organs to five different recipients.
He is a 2004 Richmond High School graduate. He is survived by his grandparents Ron (Carol) Sherer, Karin Marshall, Verna (Paul) Booher, Nina Chatterton, parents: Chris and Michelle Sherer, siblings: Alicia and Jeremy (Sarah) Sherer, aunts & uncles: Josh (Connie) Sherer, Billy (Brandi) Booher, Dave Booher, Nancy Sherer, his nephew Caleb Davis, his partner Lexi, and very many special others.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 18th from 2 to 4 PM at the Cope Environmental Center, North Entrance, 1730 Airport Rd. A memorial walk for Brian will be held following the service.
