Jerry Griffith, age 64, passed away unexpectedly at Miami Valley Hospital on July 3, 2021. He was born May 26, 1957, the son of John Sr. and Geneva (Maiden) Griffith, in Richmond, Indiana.
Jerry enjoyed fishing, going on country cruises, and going to his brother, Butch’s house on Saturday’s to play cards and drink with the guys.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 38 years: Terrie (Tout) Griffith, of Richmond, IN; his children: Shane Maiden and Shannon Maiden (Vanessa Jordan), both of Richmond, IN; grandchildren: Makayla Blevins (Bradley Nevil), Richmond, IN, Rodney Blevins II, Richmond, IN, Hayleigh Ray (Kaelan Ray) Fountain City, IN, Kyrsten Collett, Richmond, IN, Dameatrice Mills, Richmond, IN and Damarion Mills, Richmond, IN; great grandchildren: Jayden Blevins, Bradley Nevil, Kora Ray, Brentley Nevil and Bryden Nevil; brother: John Griffith Jr. “Butch”; niece: Genea Carden; nephews: Mica Griffith, Travis Griffith and Greg Ward; and a host of other relatives and friends including longtime friends, James Black and Rosie Hernandez-Smith.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother: James Griffith.
