Alfred Eugene Burke, age 48, passed away at his residence on May 20, 2021. He was born May 12, 1973 to James F. and Alsie N. Burke, in Richmond, Indiana.
Alfred was a resident of Richmond; and graduated from Centerville High School. He was a fan of all different types of music, loved to draw, and was an avid football fan especially the Indianapolis Colts. He was also a Tony Stewart fan and loved NASCAR.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife: Stacy I. Burke, Richmond, IN; two sons: David William Burke, Greenwood, IN, and Dylan James Burke, Richmond, IN; stepson: Eric James Gwin (Sasha); five sisters: Lisa Steelman (Charles), Richmond, IN, Kathy Gabbard (Brian), Richmond, IN, Anita Shackelford (Scott), Greenwood, IN, Debbie Burke, Richmond, IN, and Patricia Gaines, Martinsville, IN; four brothers: Tim Burke, Richmond, IN, David Burke (Sherri), Oak Grove, MN, James Burke (Suzanne), Centerville, IN, and Gary Gaines, Martinsville, IN; several nieces and nephews; mother-in-law: Betty Cook; and a host of other relatives and friends including special friends: Keith Moistner and Wayne Lowdy.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Claude and Minnie Hale; paternal grandparents: Lawrence Burke and Myrtle Jones; a sister: Janet Marcum; a brother: Bill Gaines; and his father-in-law: Roger Cook.
