Delores Huckery, 85, of New Paris, passed away May 16, 2021, at her home after a long illness. She was born May 16, 1936, in Jackson County, Kentucky, and has lived in this area all of her life. Her parents Herman and Mae St. John Bennett are both deceased.
Delores worked with her parents in Bennetts Upholstery and owned Dee’s Upholstery; she retired from Bullerdick Furniture.
She attended Ft. City Wesleyan.
She is survived by her children Ronald (Lisa) Huckery of Liberty Township, Ohio, Gary (Penny) Huckery of New Paris, Ohio, Renee (Dave) Davenport of Crossville, TN., six grandchildren Katelyn (Alex) Monson, Joshua Huckery, Acacia (Brandon) Beasley, Ashley (Nick) Jones, Jacob (Miranda) Davenport, Jack (Rachel) Davenport, and twelve grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Eugene Huckery who died February 6, 1998.
