Thomas L. Hubbell, 83 of Bonita Springs, FL passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Naples Community Hospital. He was born July 4, 1937 in Richmond, IN a son of the late Jack and Helen Hubbell.

In 1956, Tom graduated from Richmond High School before graduating from Purdue and Indiana Wesleyan Universities. Mr. Hubbell was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving from 1956 – 1960 aboard the USS Intrepid.

His career was spent working as an industrial engineer with Richmond Gear and in sales with Fairfield Manufacturing in Lafayette, retiring in 2002. Tom was also a faithful member and Elder of Bay Presbyterian Church in Bonita Springs, FL.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 51 years, Elaine (Smith) Hubbell; daughter, Kelley Gordon (husband Barry) of Indianapolis, IN; stepson, Barry Hunt (wife Janet) of Parkland, FL; stepdaughter, Paula Yuill (husband John) of Lafayette, IN; siblings, Carl Hubbell (wife Vicki) of Centerville, IN, Donna Fields and Elizabeth Edwards of Richmond, IN, Jessie Johnson (husband Dave) of Williamsburg, IN; grandchildren, Lauren Ayers, Kacey Crowe, Jennifer Aleshire, Josh Yuill, Eric Jackson, Jessica Jay; and great grandchildren, Vonn Aleshire, Trinity and Lillian Jackson, Oakley Jay, Maevery Yuill, Taj, Sena and Nile Crowe.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John Hubbell.

A memorial service with Military Honors will be celebrated on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Bay Presbyterian Church, 26911 South Bay Drive, Bonita Springs, FL 34134.
