Eulalah A. Nelson, age 94, of Centerville, Indiana, died Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family.

Born March 14, 1927, in Losantville, Indiana, to Sanford and Daisy Ethel Foster Scott, Eulalah was a life-long resident of Wayne County, Indiana. She graduated from Hagerstown High School. Eulalah retired from Grain Dealers in Indianapolis, Indiana, in 1984, where she worked as a lunchroom supervisor and formerly worked at Centerville Junior High School, Hardee’s, and Earlham College. Eulalah was a member of Centerville Christian Church. She loved to travel and anything and everything involving animals.

Survivors include her sons, Tim (Janet) Nelson of Centerville and Richard (Casey) Nelson of Huntingburg, Indiana; seven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Daniel Nelson, who died in 1973; daughter, Shirley (Larry) Pipenger; parents; five sisters; and three brothers.

Visitation for Eulalah A. Nelson will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 5, 2021, at Mills Funeral Home, 405 East Main Street, Centerville. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 5, 2021, at Mills Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Cochran officiating. Please plan to wear your own mask in the funeral home. Burial will be in West Lawn Cemetery in Hagerstown.
