Russell William “Rusty” Burris, age 61, died December 21, 2020, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo, Ohio. Rusty was born on November 6,1959, in Orange County Florida. He attended Centerville High School and worked as a marine mechanic before his long career as a semi driver. Rusty loved his family and was always there to support them and he was deeply loved in return. He also enjoyed being outdoors in his spare time, fishing or hunting, and enjoyed spoiling all his dogs as well as all the family dogs.
Surviving are his daughter Hilary (Jamie) Spear, two grandchildren Elsie and Reid of Oakland, Maine, his sister Carol Ann (Bob) Horton, two nieces Marisa and Arianne, and extended family and friends.
The family will have a Celebration of Life in Winchester when we can safely gather and respectfully request you send any memorials in his honor to the charity of your choice or a humane society. Family may be reached at Burrisfamily745@gmail.com.
