Ernest L. Frady, age 71, of Richmond, Indiana died Wednesday January 20, 2021. He was born on September 6, 1949 to Charles and Mary Marie Frady.
Ernest lived in Richmond his entire life, going to school at Nicholson, Test and Richmond High School, class of 1967. He retired in 1998 from Dana Corp. with 30 years of service and co-owned ChinaTown Antiques with Paula, his wife and best friend.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 38 years, Paula Harris Frady, his sons Robert and Jeffrey (Heather), grandsons, his sister Ericka, aunts, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Linda and the best mother-in-law, Ellen M. Harris.
Ernest’s final words to the world:
“I’ve lived the American dream, with thanks to all whom helped me. With a tear in my eye and a smile on my face, I say goodbye”. Ernest would also like to thank Dr. Janet Meckley for many years of caring and also for the care received by the angels at Friends Fellowship Community.
