Billy Randolph Meadows born May 21, 1952 to Letha (Miller) Meadows and Carl (Ted) Meadows in Monticello, Kentucky, went to be with the Lord on January 12, 2021. Bill passed away at Heritage House of New Castle from complications of Covid-19
Billy was a true and firm believer in God. Several years he attended the Foursquare Church of New Castle and for the past several years he attended the Cadiz Friends Church. He loved gospel music-the faster the better. The Cadiz Friends parishioners called him their prayer warrior. When prayer was needed all you had to do was call Bill. He could pray and scare the devil out of anyone. Bill had an excellent memory. He never saw a stranger. If you met him and told him your name it was with him forever. Phone numbers, birthdays, page numbers in the hymnal, he remembered them. The last few years he wasn’t quiet his old self, you might have to remind him who you were, but then he would remember. If you gave him a hard time he would put square wheels on your wagon!
He is survived by a brother, John B. (Merry) Meadows; sisters, Kathy (Ron) Browning and Charlotte Allen; several nieces and nephews, John Jr., and Daniel Meadows, Jessica (Thurnia) Meadows Rogers, Tony Rhodes, Jennifer Rhodes (Richard) Fallon, Ronni Lisa Browning (Seth) Bunch, Brad (Diane) Browning; aunt, Joyce W. West and special cousin, Sheila Woods (Larry) Stinson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, Willie and Elizabeth Meadows and John and Maggie Miller; a sister, Donna Meadows Brummett; brothers-in-law, Delbert Brummett, Bill Rabe and Gayron Allen; nephew, Christopher Meadows; several aunts and uncles.
