Jimmie Floyd Kemplen, 80, of Lynn, died Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Reid Health.
He was born in Albany, KY on January 30, 1940 to Ernest and Lena (Purdue) Kemplen. He resided in Albany, KY and Indiana for many years. He was a retired employee of Chevrolet in Muncie.
Survivors include 2 children, Lena Katherine Schneider (Richard) and Jimmie D. Kemplen; grandchildren; a great-grandchild; 3 brothers, Walter Kemplen, Wendell Kemplen and Jessie Kemplen; Several nieces and nephews and a very special friend, Phyllis Schoop and her son David.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby; 4 brothers, Eugene, Robert, Johnny and Edwin; a sister, Marie.
Visitation will be 5 to 7 PM on Friday, January 15, at Culberson Funeral Home, Hagerstown. Services will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday at Culberson Funeral Home. Burial will be at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Muncie.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hagerstown Church of the Nazarene or the charity of your choice.
