Dr. Dale A Hendrickson, DVM, 76, of Farmland, IN passed-away early Tuesday morning, December 29, 2020 at Elmcroft Nursing Home of Muncie, IN. He was born September 30, 1944 in Winchester, IN the son of Chester and Virginia (Farlow) Hendrickson.

Dale was a 1962 graduate of Winchester High School and a 1968 graduate of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Purdue University. He was a lifetime member of the Purdue Alumni Association. He was licensed to practice in nine states, but was also sought out by many countries, including, China, Canada, Mexico, and Puerto Rico. While in China, he received the title of Honorary Professor of Zhengzhou College of Animal Husbandry Engineering.

He was owner and practiced his doctorate at Stoney Creek Veterinary Services. He was a lifetime member of the Indiana Veterinary Medicine Association (IVMA), Indiana Pork Producers, member and past President of Indiana State Board of Animal Health, 50-year member of American Association of Swine Veterinarians, and he also served on the Parker Banking Company Board of Directors.

Dale loved being a Veterinarian and his accomplishments to his medical practice has helped to forge many opportunities in Swine Studies and Advancements.

His commitment to his faith and his church, Riverview Church of the Nazarene. Dale was highly active with the church he enjoyed helping the youth through the Fuegos Youth Center. He was a devoted Sunday School Teacher, Sunday School Superintendent and a past member of the District Advisory Board. Dale had also attended Lynn Church of the Nazarene and Harris Chapel Church of the Nazarene.

Dale leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife, Carolyn Sue; a son, Mark A. Hendrickson (wife, Stefanie) of Selma, IN; a daughter, Lynn Swallow (husband, Brad) of Parker City, IN; a step-son, David Henson (wife, Kathy) of Cleveland, OH; two brothers, Ted Hendrickson (wife, Libby) of Farmland, IN and Stan Hendrickson (wife, Gretchen) of Winchester, IN; two sisters, Joan Manning of LaFontaine, IN and Sue Wolfe of Frankfort, IN; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers-in-law, Larry Manning and Tim Wolfe.

Due to the concerns surrounding Covid-19, the family will be having a private gathering and service. A public service will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2020 at the Goodrich Memorial Chapel at Fountain Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Riverview Church of the Nazarene, 2608 E.
