James Floyd Sutherland, Jr., 80, of Hagerstown, died Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at Ambassador Health Care, Centerville.
He was born in Richmond on February 9, 1940 to James Floyd and Mattie (Rich) Sutherland. He was a graduate of Greens Fork High School and a retired employee of Perfect Circle / Dana Corp. Jim was a former member of Connersville chapter of Gold Wing Club.
Survivors include 2 sons, Bill Sutherland (Pam) and Mike Sutherland (Stacey); 4 grandchildren, Racheal Smith (AJ), Ashley Smith (Blair), Kennedy Sutherland and Chase Sutherland; 3 great-grandchildren, Elija Smith, Bridget Smith and Briar Smith; 5 siblings, Polly Conyers, Virginia Short, Carolyn Smith, Willie Southerland and Jerry Sutherland; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by His wife, Margaret “Maggie” Sutherland and a sister, Shirley Roberts.
Visitation will be 1 to 2 PM on Sunday, January 3, at Culberson Funeral Home, Hagerstown. Services will follow at 2:00 PM. Burial will be in West Lawn Cemetery.
