Winona Hale (Barnum) Charron, age 90, passed away Dec 21, 2020 at Rosebud Village in Richmond, IN. She was born in Rhode Island, Jan 6 1930 to parents Edith and Phineas Barnum, where she raised her family, later moving to California where she lived in the Bay Area for approximately 35 years, working as a dispatcher for Matson Navigation, before moving to Richmond for medical reasons.
Her hobbies included bowling, sewing, quilting, knitting hats for charity, playing piano, and travel. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society, and enjoyed walking, playing cards, and visiting with her many friends.
Survivors include her brother, Paul Barnum of Rhode Island; sons Karl Charron and Craig Charron and his wife Barbara; daughters Marcia Pena, Penny McCloud and husband Terry McCloud; granddaughter Dahlia Pena-Thomas and her husband Rob Thomas, grandsons Kyle Pena, Alex Charron, and Daryl Charron, as well as 7 great-grandchildren; step-granddaughter and step-grandson Holly Kirkpatrick, her husband Matt Kirkpatrick, and 4 step-great-grandchildren.
She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Her fun and laughter will echo in our hearts for many years to come.
