Debbie Gary, Richmond, 68, passed from this life peacefully at St. Vincent Hospital on December 23rd with her husband, Ron, and son, Ronnie at her side. Debbie lived in Richmond Indiana her entire life and graduated from Richmond High School in 1970. She loved her family. She enjoyed keeping in touch with family and friends on Facebook and Messenger.

Debbie was a breast cancer survivor, 30 plus years. She worked at First National Bank, INA/Cigna/ACE, and currently at Wal-Mart. She was an Avon representative for many years. She and Ron also had many business adventures on the side. Debbie enjoyed reading books by Stephen King. She was an avid bowler in the past. She gave back to the community through donations to the Community Food Pantry and Battered Women.

Debbie leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Ron Gary whom she married on May 22, 1971. Their 50th wedding anniversary was coming up on May 22, 2021. She also Leaves her son, Ronnie Gary (Aleatha) of Richmond, IN, and step-daughter, Lisa Costlow (Jud) of Richmond, IN. Debbie loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Gary Nelson (Katie) of Fishers, IN – Mason, Ava, Holden; Leah Suhre (Justin) of Evansville, IN – Clayton and Jensyn; Ahtaela Snell of Richmond, IN. She has a grandchild – Ronnie and Aleatha and great-grandson – Leah and Justin coming in 2021. She also leaves brothers-in-law – Fred Gary (Sandy); Ben Gary (Joan); sister-in-law, Cheryl Hunt; cousins Diane Marsh Reynolds and Julie Bullock, and many other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Joan Minner, and sister, Linda Cox.

Private funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Sunday, January 4, 2020, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Deacon Jim Miller officiating. Burial will be at Green Mound Union Cemetery in New Madison, Ohio. With Covid19 restrictions (masks are required and no more than 25 people are allowed in the funeral home at any one time) friends may call from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.
