Robert J. Stone, age 72, of Richmond, Indiana, died Sunday, December 13, 2020, at Reid Health.
Born September 23, 1948, in Pana, Illinois, to Hensley and Gladys Morey Stone, Robert graduated from high school in Chesterton, Indiana. He lived in Richmond since 1990. Robert worked in manufacturing with several companies over the many years. He was a coin collector and enjoyed spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Della Faye Lakes Stone; stepchildren, Robert Allen (Michelle) Lakes and Diana Lynn Witt, both of Indianapolis, Indiana; several step-grandchildren; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Due to the current COVID-19 situation, we regret to inform you that the graveside service for Robert J. Stone will be private with Chaplain Rick Alvey officiating. Burial will be in Elkhorn Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond.
