John D. Austerman, age 46, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on October 23, 2020. He was born August 31, 1974, in Richmond, Indiana, and had lived here all of his life.
John loved music; he played the guitar and sang for a few of the local bands. He was Owner/Operator of Superior Guttering for 13 years and then he done construction for Taylor Homes in Springsboro, Ohio.
He is survived by his daughter: Kira Austerman; mother: Wilma Lahrman; father: Michael Austerman; maternal grandparents: Arthur and Lina Smith; sisters: Tracy Smith and Megan (Alfredo) Berrios; aunts: Judy M. (Jeff) Jackson, Sharon F. Wolen, Elaine Austerman, Maggie Rosenburger and Marilyn Uhte; uncles: Arthur E. Smith, Duane (Dana) Smith, Darren (Kim) Smith, Marty Austerman and Bill (Betty) Austerman; and many friends including a lifelong friend, Mark Wilmot.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Willard and Helen Austerman and an uncle, Tom Austerman.
