Larry Wayne Stigall Sr. age 74 passed away October 14, 2020 peacefully at home surrounded by family. He was born October 23, 1945 in New Castle, Indiana.
He graduated from Walter P. Chrysler High School in New Castle. He remained a dedicated member of Grand Avenue Baptist Church. He was an exemplary Christian who never met a stranger. His kindness and joy touched countless lives. He will be missed by many, not only family, but also in the community. He was a hard worker, started with 3 years (1965-1968) serving in the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany, during the Vietnam War. Then spent 30 years at DANA Corp, in the foundry. This was followed by 9 years with Cardinal Pharmacy and 9 years with Walgreens Pharmacy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William E. Stigall and Mae Stigall.
He is cherished by his devoted wife, Pam; children, Misty Bachinski, Larry Stigall Jr., Aaron Stigall, Ali (Hiromi) Mihankhah, and Sasha (Miles) Preston; grandchildren, Cody Bachinski, Khyl Bachinski, Alex (Ashley) Stigall; brothers, Charles (Joan) Stigall, Dale (Julia) Stigall and Earl (Heidi) Stigall.
Face masks and social distancing are mandatory for attending Larry’s services listed below at the request of the family. Larry’s service will be available to view virtually at www.hinsey-brown.com following the service.
Graveside services will be held at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Batson Cemetery. A public viewing will precede the service beginning at 4:00 p.m. at the cemetery. The Rev. Charles Dugger will be officiating and Military Rites will be conducted by the US Army and American Legion/VFW. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
