DUBLIN– Terry Ray Brownell, 63, passed away Tuesday afternoon January 2, 2018 at Community Hospital East in Indianapolis, Indiana. A son of the late Robert and Kathleen (Wilkinson) Brownell, Terry was born in New Castle, Indiana on October 10, 1954. Terry grew up and attended school in Lowell, Indiana and had lived in Pennville before moving to Dublin 10 years ago. Terry proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Viet Nam War and was honorably discharged on January 18, 1978. He worked as a truck driver hauling heavy equipment and in his leisure enjoyed family get togethers, playing cards and fishing.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, the former Beth Ann Dingle. They were married in New Castle, Indiana on December 1, 1992. 4 children, Brittany and Adam Brownell of Dublin, Jason and Eric Brownell of Ohio; 2 brothers, Robert of Arizona and Charles of Lowell; 1 sister, Lisa Thrift of Virginia; 1 uncle, Randy Wilkinson; 2 aunts, Mickey Moffitt and Debbie Medford; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Terry was preceded in death by 7 uncles, Teddy, Timmy, Mike, Rex, Richard, Ronnie and Randy Wilkinson; grandparents, Frances and Herman Wilkinson
No services are planned at this time. Following cremation at the Eastern Indiana Crematory of Dublin Terry’s family will celebrate his life at a later date.
