Kenneth Wayne “Joe” Harrison, 76, of Laurel, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Hospice of Hamilton in Ohio. Born on April 12, 1944, in Fayette County, Indiana, he was one of six children for Ackman Harrison and Rebecca Hobbs Harrison.
Joe married Mary Collins in December of 1982. They were able to enjoy almost 38 years together.
He had been attending Blooming Grove Family Worship Center.
Joe retired from Visteon and had also worked as a tree trimmer. In his leisure time, he could often be found mowing the grass or off-roading with his friend, Jerry Rader, in the hills of Kentucky. He loved playing in the mud, especially with his new side-by-side.
Along with his wife, Mary, he is survived by a daughter, Becky (Donny) Glass, of Connersville; two sons, Johnny (Jenny) Harrison, of Connersville and Timmy Cupp, of Upland; a brother, Lawrence “Tippy” Harrison; his mother-in-law, Myrtle Collins; many grandchildren, and many, many great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Carolyn Cregar; a sister, Evelyn Stacey, and three brothers, Earl, Leonard, and Denzel Harrison.
