Frederick W. “Fred” Anderson, 70, passed away at his residence in Franklin on Friday, December 1st, 2017.
He was born on January 17th, 1947 in Greens Fork (Wayne County), Indiana to James E. and Betty Ann (Niewoehner) Anderson. He is survived by one brother, David Anderson of Chattanooga, Tennessee; and two cousins, Christopher Wittman of Noblesville and John Anderson of Indianapolis. He was preceded in passing by his parents.
Fred was a 1965 graduate of Centerville High School and attended I.U.P.U.I. as well as Ball State University receiving a Computer certificate. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
He was employed by the State of Indiana as a Senior Systems Analyst, retiring after several years of service.
Fred was a member of the Franklin American Legion Post No. 205; the Moose Lodge No. 2079 in Greenwood; Franklin Elks No. 1818 and the Eagles No. 4132. He enjoyed his friends at the Willard. Fred was a private man, but was well liked by many.
A memorial celebration will be held at a later date.
