Robert Allen Fulton passed away on June 12th., 2020 at Bridgewater Healthcare Center. He was a former resident of New Castle, Indiana. He was born June 19, 1925 and was the son of William and Nana Martin Fulton.
He graduated from New Castle High School in 1943. He proudly served in the Army Air Corps as a waist gunner/radio operator in World War II. He flew 26 missions over Germany. He returned from the war and married his high school sweetheart, Geneva Fulton on September 22, 1946. He retired from Chrysler Corporation in 1987.
Robert loved his family and enjoyed serving and helping others. He was a crossing guard for Riley School, delivered Meals on Wheels, served as Post Commander for the American Legion, was a Mason, served on the Salvation Army Board, and was a tour guide at the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame. He was a former member of the Whittier Lane Baptist Church and attended Grace Church in Noblesville, Indiana.
Robert is survived by his daughters: Vicki (husband, Virgil) Vaughn of Carmel, Indiana, Cindi Jarvis of North Vernon, Indiana, and Traci (husband, Lonnie) Ferguson of Spiceland, Indiana; grandchildren: Joshua (Shauna) Vaughn of San Jose, California, Jordan (Melissa) Vaughn of Carmel, Indiana, Amy (John) Gulley of Columbus, Indiana, Jason Jarvis of North Vernon, Indiana, and Jacob Lantz of Anderson, Indiana; his great-grandchildren: Caroline and Luke Vaughn and Jack and Mary Gulley; several nieces and nephews also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers; sisters; his wife, Geneva; and his son-in-law, Tony Jarvis.
Family will meet at Macer-Hall-Marcum & Moffitt Funeral Home, 2011 Broad Street Chapel for procession to the graveside. Services will be held 10:30 a.m., Wednesday June 17, 2020 in Section 25 of South Mound Cemetery with Reverend Mike Whitesell officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the U.S. Army, American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Macer-Hall-Marcum & Moffitt Funeral Home staff are honored to served the family of Robert Fulton.
