Mildred Eloise Thalls, 98, of New Castle, died Monday, June 1, 2020, at Stonebrooke Rehabilitation Center.
She was born in Henry County on May 24, 1922 to Harrison and Hallie Marie (Stickler) Cook and was a life long resident of Henry County. She attended Hagerstown Congregational Christian Church.
Survivors include 2 children, Deborah Thalls and Mark Thalls and a granddaughter, Paige Williams.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Thalls, in 2006 and by a sister, Juanita Handler.
Visitation will be 1 to 3 PM on Friday, June 19, at Culberson Funeral Home, Hagerstown. Graveside services will follow at 3 PM in West Lawn Cemetery. Pastor Rick Alvey will officiate.
