A Richmond man received non-life-threatening stab wounds after an early Tuesday morning incident.
Third-shift officers for Richmond Police Department were dispatched at about 1:37 a.m. June 2 to the 600 block of South 13th Street on an initial report of arguing and fighting with shots being fired.
While officers have not confirmed that shots were fired, they found an injured Shane Cail, 27, of Richmond, who was transported to Reid Health with stab wounds.
Capt. Curt Leverton said evidence was recovered from the scene and investigators are in the initial stages of the investigation.
