William Woodson Frazier, 92, of Connersville passed away Thursday morning, May 28, 2020, at Hickory Creek Nursing Home, Connersville.
One of two children of Claude Esther and Alberta “Bertie” Holland Frazier, William was born on February 7, 1928 in London, Kentucky and moved to Indiana when he was 18 years old.
On October 8, 1949, William married the former Hazel Juanita Williams in Central Christian Church, Connersville. Mrs. Frazier passed away on July 31, 2019.
William was employed at H. H. Robinson as lead man/truck driver for 40 years, retiring in 1985. Following his retirement, William worked for Meals-on-Wheels for several years.
In his leisure time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, working in the yard, and traveling, especially to Florida.
Survivors include three children, Donald (Linda) Frazier of Everton, Mary Lou (John) Anderson of Connersville, and Darrell (Beth) Frazier of Bentonville; four grandchildren, Andy (Elisha) Frazier of Richmond, Adam (Betsy) Frazier of Union County, Indiana, Jama (Travis) Cowan of Everton, and Jesse (Kristina) Frazier of Alpine, Indiana; seven great-grandchildren; a half sister, Janet (John) parks of Richmond, Kentucky; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
William was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Thelma Frazier Campbell.
Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 1, 2020, at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home. Reverend John Reynolds will officiate. Burial will follow in Valley Grove Cemetery.
