CENTERVILLE, Ind. – José Candelaria, age 47, of Centerville, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2017, in Indianapolis.
Born October 22, 1969, in Barceloneta, Puerto Rico, to Reynaldo and Leonilda Candelaria, José came to the United States in his early 20s.
He was a member of the Wayne County community for the past 11 years and had also lived in Connecticut. José was a jack of all trades and loved everybody. He enjoyed helping anyone he could, loved cooking, and you could often find him playing pool at the Brown Jug Tavern in Centerville.
Survivors include his children, Julisa Candelaria of Indianapolis and Jeremy Negron of New Jersey; mother; and grandchildren.
A memorial service for José Candelaria was held Saturday, October 14, 2017, at the Brown Jug Tavern, 125 East Main Street, Centerville.
Arrangements are being handled by Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond.
