Angela Kay Patton, age 70, of Centerville, Indiana, died Wednesday, April 22, 2020, at Reid Health.
Born August 22, 1949, in Hartford City, Indiana, to Ernest and Mary Hyer Thurston, Angela lived in Wayne County, Indiana, most of her life. She was a 1969 graduate of Northeastern High School. Angela moved to Florida in 1994, where she worked as a supervisor at Bealls Outlet. After living in Florida for 20 years, Angela returned to Wayne County. She was a member of First Assembly of God. Angela enjoyed painting, crocheting, and sewing. She especially loved making dresses for her granddaughters.
Survivors include her sons, Patrick (Dee) Fiscus of Centerville and Fred (Jennifer) McClure of Richmond; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Mike Thurston, Candy McClure, and Marcena “Cricket” Henemyer; uncle, Clarence Hyer; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her children, Phillip McClure and Pamela Volner, both who died in 2016; first husband, Richard McClure; and parents.
There will be no services for Angela Kay Patton. Arrangements are being handled by Mills Funeral Home, 405 East Main Street, Centerville.
