Centerville, IN – David Cline 86 of Centerville passed away July 31, 2017 at the Dayton V.A. after a long illness.
He was born August 12, 1930 in Twin Branch, West Virginia to Amos and Ollie Barlow Cline and lived in this area most of his life.
He retired from NATCO where he was a journeyman machinist.
He served in the Army during the Korean War and was awarded a bronze star.
He is survived by his three daughters Ramona K. (Joe) Gwinn of Richmond, Kathy Lynn Cline of Richmond, Janie Sue Cline of Oregon, two grandchildren Joseph Gwinn, Erin Powell, six great grandchildren Taylor, Keygan, Madison, Emma, Braeden, Brice; eight brothers and sisters Amos, Donald, Kenneth, Joan, Lois, Juanita, Ellis, Norman, several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Dorothy who died in 1996, three sisters Lala, Wilma, and Norma.
Services will be 1:00PM Friday August 11, 2017 at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Earlham Field of Honor with military rites by the Wayne County Honor Guard. Friends may call from 11:00AM to 1:00PM Friday at the funeral home.
