Brownlow Morgan, 75, of Connersville passed away early Monday, March 9, 2020, at Reid Health, Connersville.
One of eight children of Robert and Hazel Hensley Morgan, Brownlow was born in Hyden, Kentucky, on March 7, 1945.
On July 6, 1964, he married the former Betty Farler in Jonesville, Virginia. Mrs. Morgan survives.
For many years, Brownlow was employed as a pattern maker at Carpenter Bus Factory, formerly Wayne Works. He was a past member of Eastern Indiana 4-Wheelers and in his leisure time enjoyed working outdoors, gardening, and visiting Kentucky.
Besides his wife of 55 years, Betty Morgan, Brownlow is survived by three children, Kim (Jeff) Johnson of Brookville, Robbie (Phyllis) Morgan, and Marty (Patty) Morgan, all of Connersville; six grandchildren, Doug Morgan, Charlie Morgan, both of Connersville, Allison (Derrek) Richardson of Indianapolis, Christy (Robbie) Wilhelm of Connersville, Emma Johnson of Indianapolis, Tiffany Morgan of Connersville; honorary grandchildren, Andrew Bunch and Samantha Parker, both of Connersville; two great-grandchildren, Avery Morgan and Scarlett Morgan; two brothers, Mark (Sue) Morgan of Dayton, Ohio and Hemmer Morgan of Connersville; two sisters, Rowena (Hubert) Barger of Hyden, Kentucky and Oda Ruth (John) Minton of Connersville; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Brownlow was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Leona Bently and Lois Barger; and an infant brother, Robert Morgan.
Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2020, at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home. A graveside service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday by Reverend Jerry Rader at Everton Cemetery.
