The Seton Catholic volleyball team hosted two Pioneer Conference teams in a 3-way match on Saturday, Sept. 6. 

The Cardinals won their first match against Anderson Preparatory Academy in straight sets by scores of 25-8, 25-4 and 25-14. 

Taryn Tremain led the Cards with 11 assists, MeKenzie McDonald had 4 digs and Jolie Scherschel had nine kills. 

The Cardinals lost a very close five-set battle with University. After losing the first two sets 25-22 and 25-16, the Cardinals came back to win the third and fourth sets by identical 25-12 scores to force a fifth set. In a close set that went to the wire, University won by the score of 16-14. 

Individual statistics were not available for the University match. 

Seton Catholic is now 6-6 on the season.
