Marilyn Ruth Brown Ramey, age 97, of Bloomington, Indiana, entered eternal rest on March 4, 2025.
Marilyn was born to Harold and Edith (Duning) Foote November 12, 1927, in Richmond, Indiana. She was a graduate of Richmond High School.
She worked as a dental assistant in Gas City, Indiana, and Jackson, Michigan. Prior to that, she worked as the church secretary at First Lutheran Church in Columbus, Indiana.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Richmond for many years. Marilyn loved traveling, reading, movies, and time spent with her family and friends. She was humble and kind and will be dearly missed.
Survivors include three sons, David (Peggy) Brown of New Bern, North Carolina, Timothy (Terri) Brown of Bloomington, Indiana, and Stephen (Mary) Brown of Jackson, Michigan; three grandchildren, Christopher (April) Brown of Nathalie, Virginia, Matthew (Cristina) Brown of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Courtney (Tom) Brown of New York City, New York; three stepsons, Rick, Scott and David Ramey; 10 step-grandchildren; one great-grandson, Theo; four step-great-grandchildren; cousins Rosalie Geiger of Richmond, Indiana, and Roland Duning of Indian Lake, Ohio; nephew, David (Kelly) Mikesell of Carmel, Indiana; and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Kenneth Brown, Philip Ruby and William Ramey (they met at their class reunion and were married for 30 years); sister, Betty Mikesell; daughter-in-law, Sara Brown; nephew, Rob Mikesell; and brother-in-law, Don Mikesell.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Allen Funeral Home and Crematory in Bloomington. There will be a graveside service at a future date at Earlham Cemetery in Richmond, Indiana.
