Richmond Community Schools is asking the community for input on the future of the school corporation, its leadership and its educational programs.

Administrators have posted an online survey at surveymonkey.com/r/RCS_sp that allows RCS staff, students and families as well as other residents to answer a series of questions about priorities and performance. “The Board of Trustees wants to hear from our community about what matters most to you,” RCS said in a social media post linking to the survey.

Respondents can indicate their satisfaction with the school corporation’s communication quality and consistency, the availability of information on the RCS website and social media accounts, quality of leadership, management of finances, and overall culture. Survey takers can also indicate areas for improvement.

The questions also gauge support for possible changes in how RCS is structured, such as reconfiguring to K-5 elementary schools and 6-8 middle schools, and having an early learning center for 3- and 4-year-olds.

The survey is set to close on Friday, Nov. 8. Anyone needing access to an electronic device to complete the survey can use a laptop computer at the RCS administration building, Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m.
