The Centerville Bulldogs traveled to Union City on Friday, Oct. 11, for a Tri-Eastern Conference game with the Indians. The Bulldogs unleashed an impressive aerial attack en route to a 55-0 victory. Freshman Jace Hollendonner connected on 14 of 17 passing attempts for 257 yards and four touchdowns. 

The Bulldogs scored 14 points in the first quarter and added 27 points in the second quarter to build a 41-0 halftime lead, triggering a running clock in the second half. 

The Bulldog offense was so efficient that they picked up 14 first downs in the game on only 43 plays. 

Ethan Vecera was the leading receiver for the ‘Dawgs, catching four passes for 122 yards and two touchdowns. Vecera also returned an interception 52 yards for a score. Maddox Pritchett caught five passes for 114 yards and a touchdown, and Kyle Dickenson caught a 2-yard touchdown pass. The Bulldogs gained 83 yards rushing. Hollendonner gained 42 yards on five carries and rushed for a touchdown. Aiden Hoelscher rushed for 37 yards on 10 carries and scored a touchdown. Pritchett returned the second-half kickoff 83 yards for a score. Gavin Stiggleman kicked 7 extra points. 

Johnny McGinty led the Bulldog defense with nine tackles. Chase Clark had eight tackles, Austin McGuire had seven tackles and Vecera had six. Eddie Parker and Evan Noe both had interceptions. 

The Bulldogs will close out regular season play on Friday, Oct. 18, with a game at Knightstown.
