Cambridge City Public Library will be closed June 28 and July 1-6 for carpet installation.
The library at 600 W. Main St. will be open one time during that period, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, June 29, to pick up last-minute items. It will reopen at 10 a.m. July 8.
Library staff say the new carpet will replace well-worn carpet in the staff work area, board room and history room.
The library’s program featuring Iditarod Trail sled dog racer Karen Land will go on at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, in Golay Community Center, 1007 E. Main St., Cambridge City.
