Registration deadlines are nearing for some opportunities connected with Cambridge City’s annual Canal Days festival, which takes place Sept. 9-10.
- Reservations are due Aug. 31 for the Lincoln High School reunion breakfast. The event, 9 a.m. Sept. 9, Golay Community Center, is open to graduates and teachers from 1942 through 1984. - New Day Kiwanis members are organizing their 36th annual golf scramble and 11th annual car show.

Registration for the car show takes place from 8 a.m.-noon Sunday, Sept. 10, in Creitz Park for $15 per vehicle. Awards will be given at 1 p.m. before participants join the 2 p.m. downtown parade.

Applications and booth rental fees may be delivered to Tamra Davis at Golay Community Center or Beth Leisure at National Road Antique Mall. Forms received after Sept. 1 will be accepted if spaces remain.
To be considered for parade awards, floats should follow the “A Walk Through Time” theme. Lineup begins at 1 p.m. Sept. 10.
