Katherine (Duncan) Brown, age 58, of New Castle, passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at IU Ball Memorial Hospital. She was born, February 12, 1965, in Greenfield, IN, to Ann (West) McRoberts and the late John Duncan.
She loved listening to Country Music and Classic Rock first thing in the morning. Katherine love being outside on Holidays and her free time and was a very caring person that would do anything for anybody. More than anything her time with family and friends was what she enjoyed most and will be missed by everyone who knew her.
Kathy is survived by her daughters; Bobbi and Bridget Strong: 7 grandchildren; David, Mayanna, Emmalee, and Jacob Johnson, Katherine Colleen, Lynard Lee, and Louie Thompson: step-daughter Tausha Neal: 3 step-grandchildren; Caleb, Destinee & Albrianna Neal: three brothers; Linville Duncan, Tracy Lane & Scott Southard: four sisters; Tiny Duncan, Rin Owens, Junie Perkins, & Shawna Foy: as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends survive.
Kathy was proceeded in death by her husband Jimmy Brown in 2020: her father John: maternal grandparents; Robert & Rena West and paternal grandparents; Garfield & Osie Duncan.
A Celebration of Life will be held by the Family on June 3rd, 2023, starting at 1:00 PM. Address for the gathering is; 205 N. 29th Street in New Castle, Indiana. All friends and family are invited to share this time together.
