Tara Barrett, 26, of Muncie, Indiana, and formerly of New Castle passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2023. Tara was born on June 4, 1996, in Warner Robins, GA to Zonda (Masters) Blevins and the late Ronald Barrett
Tara loved life and lived it to it’s fullest. She was known as a “Wild Spirit” to those who knew her best. She enjoyed fishing and simply loved being outside. It was common for Tara to be scrolling through Facebook, and always posting something funny or making jokes. Her sense of humor and presence will be missed by all who knew her.
Tara was preceded in death by her father listed above; maternal grandparents, Vicki “bambom” & Wayne “Popop” Headley.
Loving survivors include her mother, Zonda; 4 sisters; Brandi Craven, Amanda Blevins, Kerri (Andrew) Anderson & Angel Lenning: four nephews; Charlie, Noah, Cameron & Carson and one niece Alivia. She is also survived by her boyfriend Randy Morton.
A visitation for Tara will take place on Thursday May 18, 2023 from 5:00 ~ 6:00 PM at Rose City Funeral Home 2011 Broad St New Castle, Indiana.
