Charlotte Cambra, age 90, of New Castle, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 12, 2023.
Charlotte was born and raised in Iowa before moving to California where she met her husband John Cambra and built a beautiful family with three children. She worked as a waitress for many years and later owned her own daycare business. She enjoyed craft shows and would take many of the things she had made to sale at the shows. She lived life to its fullest. She loved to camp and go fishing. Her walk with God was very important to her and she would spend countless hours listening to gospel music and reading her bible. She was a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Folsom, California. More than all of this, spending time with her family is what she loved most.
Charlotte is survived by daughters Vinetta (Dave) Fanchar & Shirley Lewis; 13 grandchildren as well as several great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins and extended family also survive.
Charlotte is proceeded in death by her parents: her husband John, a son as well as a sister, brother, cousin and other loved ones.
In honoring Charlotte’s wishes, there will be no services at this time.
