The Town of Cambridge City Water Department has lifted a water boil advisory for a small stretch of U.S. 40 as of Tuesday, July 30.
The boil advisory was issued at 4:45 p.m. Thursday, July 25.
A boil order has been issued for all residents in the 500, 600, 700, 800 and 900 blocks of E. Main St. Cambridge City the reason is for having to shut down a section of water main to install 2 valves and replace a small section of pipe. During water boil advisories, water for human consumption should be brought to a complete boil for five minutes before using.
