Cambridge City’s council has filled one of the town’s two open seats on Western Wayne Regional Sewage District board and seeks help providing additional public services.
During its July 13 meeting, council nominated Grady Munchel to one of the vacant seats.
WWRSD usually conducts brief meetings at 7 p.m. the third Monday each month. It also includes representatives appointed by Dublin, Mount Auburn and Wayne County’s commissioners. Mount Auburn also has a vacancy.
Cambridge City’s other WWRSD members currently include Jim Cohen and town councilor Mike Amick.
Cambridge City’s full council or its president also need to appoint members to several additional town boards, including its plan commission and storm water management (must be a Republican for each because of political balance), Board of Zoning Appeals and Economic Development Commission.
