Schedule updates
Here are the schedule updates we have received so far for Thursday, Feb. 3, in Wayne and surrounding counties.
Closures/E-learning days
Cambridge City: Cambridge City Public Library, Golay Community Center, Western Wayne Senior Center will be closed Thursday, Feb. 3.
Well Care Community Health: Closed Thursday, Feb. 3. Normal office hours will resume Friday, Feb. 4.
Morrisson-Reeves Library: Closed Thursday. Reopening at 9:30 a.m. Friday.
Ivy Tech Richmond: Campus going virtual due to weather at 6 p.m. Feb. 2. Students are to check IvyLearn and staff are to check with supervisor for further information.
Wayne County and City of Richmond offices: Closed Thursday, Feb. 3.
City of Richmond: Due to the threat of inclement weather, all trash and recycling collections have been suspended for Feb. 3. Reschedule information will be provided when available. Follow Richmond Sanitary District for updates.
Roseview Transit service will be suspended for Thursday, and the regularly scheduled Board of Works meeting will be cancelled. All agenda items will be moved to the next scheduled meeting. Officials will talk at 2 p.m. Thursday to further assess the storm and how to proceed into Thursday night and Friday. Mayor Dave Snow says, “Please stay safe and limit travel to only work or essential needs.”
Richmond Senior Recreation Center: Closed Thursday, Feb. 3.
Northeastern Wayne Schools: Northeastern will be E-learning on Thursday, Feb. 3, due to predicted icy and snowy conditions. All buildings including the Early Learning Center will be closed. Assignments will be posted at 9; teachers available from 10-2 via ParentSquare and email.
Hand-in-Hand Adult Day Care of Richmond: Closed Thursday and Friday.
Wayne County Health Department and the state-sponsored Gravity testing: Closed Thursday at the former Elder-Beerman store (601 E. Main St.). WCHD mobile sites are temporarily closed this week.
